  • CHASIN’: This brand creates performance jeanswear for men, inspired by an active city lifestyle. In addition to brand stores in the Netherlands and its own webshops, CHASIN’ has points of sale in the Benelux and DACH region. CHASIN’ is now active in more than 20 countries in Europe through marketplaces.

For CHASIN’ we are looking for a:

Planning Manager


You are responsible for the planning team. You are ultimately responsible for the stock management within CHASIN’. Together with your team you ensure that turnover and profitability are increased. You do this by maximizing the sell through and minimizing the end of season returns within the KPI’s of CHASIN’.


In this role you manage the planning for the (retail) channels. You will be responsible for managing multiple categories. You work closely with Sales Managers, Planners, Head of Finance & Operations, Head of Digital Sales, Logistics (external), Buying Managers and Head of Design & Product.


Key performance output

Execute the planning & allocation in connection with the commercial policy, in such a way that:

  • Supports planners with 3-yearly business plans and makes sure that we have an all over CHASIN’ planning overview.
  • A seasonal budget planning aligned with the seasonal and yearly KPI’s as turnover, margin, stock turn, have been delivered to all planners aligned with the KPI'.
  • Assortment plans are created and executed for each specific business area within the company’s deadline.
  • The assortment is distributed as planned and our product is allocated to the right place, at the right time and in the right quantities.
  • Coordinate the planning in the systems and adjust in-season sales there where necessary to make sure to reach the KPI
  • Replenishment is optimized with the right parameters to maximize turnover, improve our stock turn ratio and minimize the end of season returns.
  • Monitors sales and reacts quickly to in-season sales developments and/or promotions within the different departments.
  • Markdown policy is executed and communicated for each channel /partner as discussed with the board.


Coordinates, stimulates and optimizes the merchandise planning & allocation activities, in a way that;

  • Future plans are being reviewed based on the actual in season performance
  • Facilitates and updates forecast models
  • The allocation, replenishment, stock movements and returns are handled in good communication with the stakeholders.
  • Plan, facilitate and implement (ad hoc) analyses to support decision-making
  • Current processes and workflows are being reviewed and redeveloped continuously


Is responsible for optimal inventory management of the specific business area, in such a way that;

  • The shop floor capacity in terms of option count and stock quantity is managed by the team.
  • Stock flow as in deliveries, transfers and returns are managed in good communication with our logistic team

Vereisten

This is what you bring:

  • A Bachelor or master’s degree in business economics or similar educational background
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a planning manager is required and experience with leading a team
  • You have experience working for a fashion brand or retailer within the online & retail business
  • You’re expected to be flexible regarding traveling. You’re travel percentage is around 5%. You’re based in Duiven, but your key region is Europe.
  • Knowledge of retail allocation & replenishment mathematics
  • Experience with managing OTB & creating business strategies
  • You can build and maintain strong partnerships internal and external
  • Knowledge of ERP systems. PFA is a plus
  • Known with reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch. German or English is a plus
